Administration of applications submitted

In achieving the best outcome, Curriculum Corporation for the ASISTM Project reserves the right to:

  1. cease to proceed with the process outlined in this website;
  2. suspend or vary the structure or timing of the process or any part of it;
  3. require additional information from respondents;
  4. discuss or negotiate a response with a respondent;
  5. shortlist any response which does not conform with the requirements of the application;
  6. cancel, add or amend the information, terms, procedures or processes set out in this website.

Ownership of information submitted

All response documents (including supporting material) will become the property of the Commonwealth of Australia upon lodgement. Curriculum Corporation for ASISTM may make copies of the response documents for any purpose related to the ASISTM Project. All information provided by the respondents in their responses to forms on this Site:

  1. will be retained by Curriculum Corporation for the purposes of the ASISTM Project, and may be destroyed by it thereafter in accordance with any legislative or other requirements;
  2. will be available for use by Curriculum Corporation and its advisers and contractors for any purpose connected with the ASISTM Project; and
  3. is not returnable to the respondent.
Where a respondent claims intellectual property rights in any part of its response, then Curriculum Corporation will give effect to that claim if:
  1. the claim is clearly made; and
  2. the part in respect of which it is made is clearly identified.

Any claim regarding intellectual property rights is subject to the Commonwealth of Australia's right to use and disclose the material in which intellectual property rights subsist and to make copies of the response documents for any purpose related to the ASISTM Project. Upon lodgement, a respondent grants to the Commonwealth a permanent, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and reproduce any response (including supporting material) for any purpose related to the ASISTM Project.

Screening of Teacher Associates and others who may be in contact with students

Teacher Associates, and other non-school personnel who are likely to have direct involvement with school students as part of an ASISTM project, will be subject to screening. (Read more…
